Regina Wafer uses her gifts to volunteer in many areas at The Lighthouse. She has been at the Lighthouse for 9 years and has been filled with the Holy Ghost since June of 1999. She is the
director of The Lighthouse Drama Ministry. This ministry is designed to uplift and encourage its audiences through dramatic presentations. Their mission is to support Bishop Walker’s vision by presenting biblical and realistic messages that minister to the needs of audiences. This Ministry is always looking for ways to go to another level.
As the chairperson of the Ladies Auxiliary Committee, Regina is also responsible for providing healthy programs and events throughout the year that meet the needs of the women. The ladies come together throughout the year to engage in fun-filled events that not only minister, but educate and enhance relationships among the ladies at the church. The Ladies Auxiliary promotes unity and peace among the ladies by coordinating events that allow the ladies to bond and develop close relationships.
Regina Wafer loves helping others and making people laugh; her passion is ministering to people through dramatic presentations. She has a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and a minor in Speech and marketing. During her time at ULM she enjoyed taking acting classes to improve her acting skills.
Regina serves on the board of director’s of Renewal Inc. and works closely with WHN (What’s Happening Now!) radio broadcast. She currently writes and records commercials for Renewal Inc. and she has developed several campaign strategies for several local organizations. She is happily married to Curtis Wafer; they have three beautiful children.
Currently, she is the newest member of Toastmasters and plans to further her education by pursuing a MBA in the spring of this year.
